SHOW-BREAK-BATTLE WITH BREAKPOINT

A show-battle with Breakpoint brings the original, raw energy and charm from the ghetto to the audience – rehearsed choreography and spontaneous battle-moves gets into a higher unity.

Battling is a fundamental part of the hip hop culture. A breakdance battle is an intense and dramatic experience, where the dancers not only compete in daredevil, acrobatic dance moves, but also in personal style and attitude, and in presenting dance with the straight boys-like “cockiness” and conviction.

Show-battles are adaptable to most events and the physical environment, and may be combined with a live DJ. The duration is between 6-30 minutes as required. Contact us for more info and prices.

WORKSHOPS

Breakpoint offers workshops in breakdance and electric boogie to fit for all ages and all skill levels. A workshop can be adapted to the occasion – we have in particular done workshops in schools and kindergartens as well as bachelor parties, company parties, team-building courses, sporting events and Christmas parties.

A workshop can include instruction in either breakdance or electric boogie, but it can also combine both dance styles. A typical way to do a workshop is that we start with a short show, where basic moves and techniques are being taught. We always take the goals and ambitions of the specific group into account, and while everyone should have the benefit of education, it is also important, that everyone has a good and fun experience.
